With Father's Day approaching, we want to celebrate some of the "Fathers of Fashion". There are thousands of men working as fashion designers in the world, but we have decided to highlights some of the most notable ones! The men below are outstanding designers and inspiring in so many ways! The legendary fashion designers below have shaped the way we dress today. Check out a quick bio on each designer, as well as looks we have in store that pay a great tribute to these Designers!

Calvin Klein
Fashion designer Calvin Klein is known for a range of clothing lines that include women's and men's apparel, denim and underwear. Klein studied at the High School of Art and Design and at New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology. Klein worked in various industry jobs before starting his own label (Calvin Klein) in 1968. His signature jeans launched in 1974 and grossed $200,000 in the very first week. Calvin Klein is all about modern, practical fashion with an elegant touch.

Ralph Lauren

Ralph Lauren is an American clothing designer best known for his sportswear line Polo Ralph Lauren. Ralph Lauren founded the multi-million-dollar clothing company in 1967. Lauren briefly studied business, then served in the army. After serving, he took a sales job at Brooks Brothers. In 1967, while working, Lauren began designing his own men’s neckties branding them under the name “Polo”. He sold the neckties at large department stores, including Bloomingdale’s. With this success, Lauren was able to more fully develop his business, eventually expanding his designs to a full menswear line. Ralph Lauren is known for capitalizing on an aspirational style, which evokes the British gentry while also referencing the aesthetics of the American upper class.

Karl Lagerfeld 

Karl Lagerfeld was one of the most acclaimed fashion designers in the world! Known for his bold designs and constant reinvention. At an early age, Lagerfeld moved to move to Paris to pursue his passion for fashion. He held numerous positions in the fashion industry before striking out on his own in 1961. Lagerfeld spent time designing collections for Chloe, Fendi and Chanel. In 1984, Lagerfeld launched his own label, which he built around the idea of what he described as "intellectual sexiness." Karl Lagerfeld is known for quality tailoring with bold ready-to-wear pieces.

Giorgio Armani

Giorgio Armani is an iconic clothing designer. Armani is Armani is regarded as the most successful designer that ever came out of Italy!  After completing his military service, Giorgio Armani dropped out of university and went to work at La Rinascente, a famous Milan department store. Armani founded Giorgio Armani in 1975. The company's first collection, a men's clothing line, debuted that same year. Armani launched a women's collection the following year, which received a warm reception. Giorgio Armani is known for relaxed and elegant yet luxurious ready-to-wear.
