We have some exciting news to share. This news brings compelling change to our business model. The timing of this change is impeccable, as it's our 25th year of business! Before sharing our big news, let’s take a quick trip down memory lane...
Jophiel was founded in 1994-- officially opening its doors on September 13, 1994. In 1998, Jophiel relocated to a new store within the same center, doubling in size! In 2003, Jophiel relocated to the current location in Covington Plaza. In 2006, Jophiel expanded again, doubling its floor space!
Fast forward to today... Our 25th year of business brings an opportunity, which involves exciting change: We're officially downsizing our floor space and remodeling to create a more efficient fashion space! This actually reflects positive trends that are happening in the retail world, so we are confident that this change is a good thing! Although "downsizing" has a negative connotation, we can reassure you that this change brings new opportunity and excitement for the staff and clients-- you won't even miss the floor space!
If you have been in the store recently, you have probably noticed that we have condensed our Special Occasions area. This area will become the new home of Fearless Cook (La Dolce Vita) owned by Laura Wilson. We are thrilled to welcome Fearless Cook to the plaza, as our new neighbor!
If you haven't been in the store, we invite you to come in and check out the changes! We will continue to be under construction until Septemberish, so you're welcome in anytime to check on progress!
